What is binocular multi-coating?
Answered By Brent Trumbauer, Editor
Multi-coating is a term used not in the
binocular itself but on the lenses used in
it. Coating is very important to lower the
glare in the lens and limiting light to pass
through. It will also help to lower eye
strain. When a lens is said to have
multi-layer, it has one or more layers on one
lens surface.
