What is the difference between a telescope and binoculars?
Answered By Brent Trumbauer, Editor
Binoculars are generally a type of telescope.
At some point, there is no difference between
a telescope and a binocular. However, if you
are referring to a monocular telescope then
the difference of it from a binocular is the
quality of viewing and the physical
appearance. A binocular has two identical
telescope mounted together as one. The vision
quality is something realistic as compared to
a monocular telescope.
