where can i buy a good pair of binoculars from?
Can you answer amandac's question about Binoculars?:
i live in london and would like bird watching. problem is- don't have a good pair of binoculars. where can i get them from? and what are the suitable lens dimensions?
would a pair of binoculars meant to watch birds with, also be suitable for a bit of amateur star-gazing?

any kind of sporting goods store…such as dick's sporting good's or gander mountain.
BASS PRO SHOP….they have everything!
From any good sporting goods shop.
MOST would NOT be strong enough for star-gazing, but might help some looking at the moon. (telescopes, other than toys, start at better than 100X power.)
